1   Isabel's father was Simon I Seigneur von Montfort and her mother was Isabel Bardoul.  Her paternal grandparents were Amauri De Montfort and Bertrade von Gommetz. She had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Richard, Simon, Amaury, Guillaume, Aumary and Bertrade.1
