William I De Ferrers 
William I was born about 1136 in Derby, England.1 William I's father was Robert De Ferrers and his mother was Margaret Peverell. His paternal grandparents were Robert De Ferrers and Hawise De Vitre; his maternal grandparents were William Peverell and Avice De Lancastria. He was an only child. He died in 1290 in Battle of Acre, Palestine.1 -
