Joan was born about 1430 in Of, Gilsland, Northumberland, England.1 Joan's father was Thomas Dacre and her mother was Elizabeth Bowett. She had two sisters named Phillipa and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died on March 8th, 1486.1 -
