Gilbert De Clare 
Gilbert was born in 1229.1 Gilbert's father was Gilbert von Gloucester De Clare and his mother was Isabella Marshall. His paternal grandparents were Richard De Clare and Amicia von Gloucester; his maternal grandparents were William Marshal lV Earl von Pembroke and Isabella De Clare. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Richard von Gloucester, William, Amica, Isobel and Agnes.1 -
