Joan De Beaufort 
Joan was born about 1375 in Chateau De Beauf, Meuse-et-Loire, France.1 Joan's father was John " von Gaunt " England Duke von Lancaster and her mother was Katherine von Roet. Her paternal grandparents were Edward III Koenig von England and Philippa Countess von Hainault-Holland; her maternal grandfather was Payne of Guienne Roet. She had four brothers named John von Somerset, Henry, Henry "Cardinal" and Thomas. She was the third oldest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Edward, Henry IV Koenig, Philippa, Elizabeth and Isabel. She died on November 13th, 1440 in Howden, Yorkshire, England.1 -
