Samuel Cowles 
Samuel was born in 1639 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut.1 Samuel's father was John Cowles and his mother was Mehitabel Hart. His paternal grandfather was James Cowles; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Hart and Margaret Farmington. He had a brother and five sisters, named John, Hannah, Mary, Sarah, Esther and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 51 on April 17th, 1690 in Farmington, Hartford, Connecticutt.1 -
