William Armstrong was born on May 4th, 1813 in Wayne Co., KY.1 William Armstrong's father was Henry Cooper and his mother was Patience Back. His maternal grandparents were Jacob Back and Sarah Lloyd. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Elbert Emberson, Shelby Montgomery, Jacob Madison, Thomas Jackson, Elizabeth B., Nancy Sarah and Louisa J.. He died at the age of 95 on March 3rd, 1909 in Wayne Co., KY.1 -
