Henry was born in 1068 in Selby, Yorkshire, England.1 Henry's father was William I "The Conqueror" Koenig von England and his mother was Matilda (Maud) Countess von Flandern. His paternal grandparents were Robert II " The Devil " von Normandie and Herleva (Arlette); his maternal grandparents were Baldwin V "The Pious" von Flandern and Adele (Alix) Prinzessin von Frankreich. He had eight brothers and twenty-one sisters, named Robert III Prinz, Richard Prince, Robert II, Robert II Duke, Richard, Richard Duke, William II " Rufus " Koenig, Henry I Beauclerk Koenig, Adeliza, Cecilia Princess, Cecilia von Holy, Margaret Princess, Constance Prinzessin, Adela, Adela (Alice) Princess, Gundred Prinzessin, Agatha Matilda Prinzessin, Agatha, Constance, Anna Prinzessin, Adela Countess, Adeliza, Cecily, Constance, Agatha, Matilda, Matilda, Agatha and Matilda. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Richard Duke, William, Adeliza, Abess Holy Trinity Caen, Constance, Agatha and Adela. He died at the age of 67 on December 1st, 1135 in Gisors, France.1 -
