Alvin Monroe Back 
Alvin Monroe was born on November 13th, 1877 in Magoffin Co., KY.1 Alvin Monroe's father was John Wesley Back and his mother was Lucy Ann Sutphin. His paternal grandparents were Issac Back and Mary Ann Bolling. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, William Reuben, Green Wesley, Benjamin Fred, Isaac Edward, Harlan Kenis, Marlin Barlow, Sarah Jane, Emily Susan, Mary Belle, Martha Elizabeth and Junie Mae. He was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 41 on February 20th, 1919.1 -
