Joseph was born in Newport, RI(?).1 Joseph's father was Benedict Arnold. His paternal grandparents were Benedict Arnold and Patience Coggeshall. He had two brothers and three sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Benedict, Benedict, Mary, Elizabeth, Hannah and Absolom. He died in 1814 in Warrick County, IN.1 -
