Charlotte Dorothea was born on May 18th, 1808.1 Charlotte Dorothea's father was Jacob Friederich Christian Peter Allstaedt and her mother was Maria Fredericke Luisa Schroeder. Her paternal grandparents were Kaspar Christoph Allstaedt and Anna Mette Huesings; her maternal grandfather was Anton Schroeder. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Hermann Wilhelm, Jacob Wilhelm Anton, Luisa Dorothea Mette, Maria Louisa and Catherine Gesine.1 -
