Hans Christian Aarup

Hans Christian was born on July 19th, 1818 in Viborg.¹   Hans Christian's father was Soeren Christensen Aarup and his mother was Mette Elisabeth Hansdatter.  His paternal grandparents were Christian Pedersen and Petrine Soerensen. He had a brother and two sisters, named Jens Wilhelm, Inger Catherine and Marie Kirstine.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 80 on March 26th, 1899 in Skanderborg.¹
