Abraham was born in 1650 in New London, CT. Abraham's father was Issac Willey and his mother was Joanna Lutten. His paternal grandparents are Rycherd Wylley and Salley Freer; his maternal grandparents are William Lutten and Jane Waddel. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Issac, John, Joanna, Hannah, Sarah and Mary. He was the youngest of the seven children.
