Alice was born about 1437 in Woodley, Hampshire, England. Alice's father was Thomas Wilbraham and her mother was Margaret Swetenham. Her paternal grandfather was Thomas De Wilbraham and her paternal grandmother is Margaret Goldborne; her maternal grandparents are Thomas Swetenham and Alice De Overton. She has a brother and four sisters, named William, Helen, Elizabeth, Jane and Margaret. She is the third oldest of the six children.-
