Jesse Wherry

Jesse was born on March 25th, 1773 in Chester County, PA.  Jesse's father was David Wherry and his mother is Margaret Mackey.  His paternal grandparents were David Wherry and Mary Leonard. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Mackey, Ebenezer, William, John, Silas, Janet, Mary and Lydia.  He was the oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named James, Joseph, David, Esther, Isabella and Isabella.  He died at the age of 60 on September 27th, 1833 in Richmond, VA.

‌Jesse and Anna Howard were married in a religious ceremony on February 7th, 1793 in Alexandria, PA.
