David Scott 
David was born about 1415 in Buccleuch, Lanarkshire, Scotland. David's father was Walter Scott and his mother was Margaret Cockburn. His paternal grandfather was Robert Scott; his maternal grandfather is Peter Cockburn. He had two brothers named Alexander and James. He was the oldest of the three children. He died in March 1492 in Scotland.General Notes
