Samuel Porter 
Samuel was born in 1637 in Wingham, Essex Co, MA. Samuel's father was John Porter and his mother was Mary Endicott. His paternal grandparents are Samuel Porter and UNKNOWN Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Endecott and Alice Westlake. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Benjamin, Israel, Jonathan, Mary and Sarah. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 23 on April 28th, 1660 in Salem, Essex Co MA.General Notes

to th e Berbadus,
Itpr. I give to my dearly beloved wife Hannah Porter the one halfe of my
farme, Duringe her life.
Ite I give to my son Jno. Porter the other h alfe of my farme at Wenham; &
after the Death of my wife the other halfe to R eturne vnto him, & one
mare to my son & the Remayndr. (To my wife) of my esta te more or lesse:
I Desire my ffather Porter & my father in law Wm. Dodge & Ed mo: Batter to
be my Ourseers;
