Walter Ker 
Walter was born about 1440 in Cavers, Roxburgh, Scotland. Walter's father was Andrew Kerr and his mother is Jane Crichton. His paternal grandfather is Robert Kerr. He had three brothers and a sister, named James, Andrew, Thomas and Margaret. He was the youngest of the five children. He died on November 25th, 1501 in Cessford, Roxburgh, Scotland.General Notes

WALTER KERR, of Cessford, and previously of Caverton, had a Crown charter
of the barony and castle of Cessford, 13 March 1493-9. His first wife is
said to have been Isabel, dau of John Ld Hay, of Yester (see TWEEDDALE,
M). He m 2nd, Agnes, widow of Alexander, Ld Glamis, and dau of William,
