William Keith 
William was born about 1451 in Dunottar, Kincardineshire, Scotland. William's father was William De Keith and his mother is Mariot Erskine. His maternal grandparents are Thomas Erskine and Janet Douglas. He had four brothers named Anthony, Robert, John and Alexander. He was the oldest of the five children. He died before May 2nd, 1527.General Notes

1481 he married Lady Elizabeth Gordon, second daughter of George, second
Earl of Hun tly, by whom he had four sons and two daughters.
