His paternal grandfather was Herbert De Vermandois and his paternal grandmother is Emma De Blois; his maternal grandfather was Robert FitzHugh Corbet. He had two brothers named Robert and Henry. He was the youngest of the three children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Robert, Reginald, UNKNOWN, Sybilla, UNKNOWN and UNKNOWN. He died in June 1204.General Notes
