Gisela was born in 0865 in Lorraine, France.  Gisela's father was Lothar II De Lorraine and her mother was Valdrade De Lorraine.  Her paternal grandparents are Lothar I De Italia and Irmengard De Tours. She has a sister named Bertha.  She is the younger of the two children.
