Maud was born about 1235 in Wendover Manor, Buckinghamshire, England. Maud's father was Ingelram De Fiennes and her mother is Maud De Hampden. Her paternal grandfather was William I De Fiennes and her paternal grandmother is Agnes en Goelle De Dammartin; her maternal grandfather is Robert De Hampden. She had two brothers named Robert and Enguerrand. She was the youngest of the three children. She had two half-brothers named Reginald and William II. She died on November 6th, 1298. She was buried in Walden, Essex, England.General Notes
