Louis VII was born in 1119 in Reims, Marne, France.  Louis VII's father was Loius VI Capet and his mother was Adelais Ais Maurienne De Savoy.  His paternal grandparents were Philip I Capet and Bertha of West Friesland; his maternal grandparents were Humbert II De Maurienne and Gislea De Burgundy. He had three brothers and a sister, named Philip, Robert I Capet, Pierre and Constance.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 61 on September 18th, 1180 in Paris, Seine, France.  He was buried on September 19th, 1180 in Barbeau, Isle De France, France.

‌Louis VII and Eleanore were married in a religious ceremony on July 3rd, 1137.  They had three daughters named Agnes, Marie and Alix.

They had a son and two daughters, named Philip II, Agnes and Alix.
