Jacob Cable 
Jacob was born in 1763 in PA. Jacob's father was Abraham Cable and his mother was Mary V. Magdalene. His paternal grandparents were Philip Cable and Maria Brady. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Phillip, Michael, Johnathan, Christian, Benjamin, Sarah and Mary Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 in 1843 in Jefferson Co, OH.General Notes

Date of birth is uncertain. By some records Jacob is the father of
Jonathan born in 1782, this seems unlikely. Jonathan must be the son of
Ja cob's brother Johnathan.
