George Bernard Younker 
George Bernard was born on February 27th, 1904 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. George Bernard's father was Joseph Conrad Younker and his mother was Lavina Myrtle Chichester. His maternal grandparents were Levi Chichester and Mary Elizabeth Vasser. He had a sister named Laura Aline. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 75 on June 5th, 1979 in San Diego, California.General Notes

A lot of the information contain in this family pedigree came directly from George. He and I used to spend hours at a time talking about his ancestors and he was quite knowledgeble on the facts. So far, everything I have found on the family that George told me about has been true and correct.
George retired from the San Diego Union newspaper.
