Blyn A. was born on August 20th, 1890 in Phillips, Franklin, Maine. Blyn A.'s father was Jr. Whittemore Kendall Nathaniel and his mother was Jane Wing Staples. His paternal grandfather was Nathaniel Kendall Whittemore and his paternal grandmother is Abigail Saunders Riant. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Ira P., Carl H., Esma M., Birdena M., Mary Louise and Marguerite. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 73 on February 22nd, 1964 in So. Portland, Cumberland, Maine.-
