James S. Straw 
James S. was born on July 15th, 1842 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire. James S.'s father was Moses Straw and his mother was Susan K. Brown. His paternal grandparents were John Straw and Mary Molly Emerson. He had a brother and a sister, named William Henry and Susan A.. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 61 on June 8th, 1904 in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. He was buried in New Rye Cemetery, Epsom, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.-
