His maternal grandparents were Lauren Hotchkiss Roundy and Jane Ann Koyle. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas Lenniel, Hollis Franklin, Dewey LeRoy, Lawrence, Marle Wayne, Lillian Maud, LaPreal, Laura, Mary Jane and Myrle. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 on October 25th, 1958 in Springville, Utah, Utah.-
