Simeon Coffin was born on August 6th, 1797 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Simeon Coffin's father was Simeon Sargent and his mother was Martha Buntin. His paternal grandparents were Sterling Sargent and Lydia Coffin. He had four brothers and six sisters, named James, Philip, Andrew Buntin, William, Jane, Anna, Jemima, Sally, Martha and Sally P.. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 53 on April 14th, 1851 in Saco, Maine.-
