Joseph D. Sargent 
Joseph D. was born on March 26th, 1878 in Gorham twp, Fulton County, Ohio. Joseph D.'s father was Oscar M. Sargent and his mother was Georgiana A. Cottrell. His paternal grandparents were Ephraim Sargent and Huldah Collins. He had three brothers named Frank S., Wilber E. and Ralph. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 77 in 1955. He was buried in Pleasent View Cemetery, Gorham twp, Fulton County, Ohio.General Notes
Tombstone Inscriptions of Fulton County, Ohio Volume I, for Pleasant View Union Cemetery, Gorham Township, page 208, Row 25-C, gives date of death for Joseph D. Sargent as 1955. Also, it appears that he remarried after the death of wife #1 (Jessie D. Baker), as he is buried between Jessie and a Lottie A. Sargent (born 1888, died 1961). (Sharklady@@metronets.com)
