John Sargent 
John was born on February 18th, 1786 in Goffstown, New Hampshire. John's father was Elias Sargent and his mother was Sarah Sumbry. His paternal grandparents were Trueworthy Sargent and Hopestill Weed. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, Robert, Daniel, James, Bathsheba, Lydia and Sally. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 on September 8th, 1861 in Plymouth, Vermont.-
