Jacob Perley was born on March 2nd, 1798 in Canadia, New Hampshire. Jacob Perley's father was Josiah Sargent and his mother was Sarah Brackett. His paternal grandparents were John Sargent and Mary Turner. He had two brothers and two sisters, named John, Josiah, Polly and Sarah. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 82 on July 11th, 1880 in Orange, Vermont.-
