Hosea Sargent 
Hosea was born on March 8th, 1804 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire. Hosea's father was William Whittier Sargent and his mother was Molly Rowell. His paternal grandparents were Timothy Sargent and Anna Whittier. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Caleb, Caleb, Cyrus L., Sylvester Henry, Moses Wells, Anna W., Sybil R., Deborah, Sarah W. and Hannah. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 36 on November 7th, 1840 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire.-
