Claribel was born on November 10th, 1862 in Yarmouth, Maine. Claribel's father was Elias Haskell Sargent and her mother was Melinda Lane Blaisdell. Her paternal grandparents were John Sargent and Mary Riggs. She had a brother and a sister, named Infant Son and Emma Riggs. She is the youngest of the three children.-
