Ardelia was born on September 4th, 1883 in Garland, Warren County, Pennsylvania. Ardelia's father was William Wright Pierce and her mother was Almyra Jerusha Wilcox. Her maternal grandparents were Isaiah Clark Wilcox and Sally Ann Henry. She had two brothers named Clare Victor and Frank H.. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 29 on October 25th, 1912 in Warren County, Pennsylvania.-
