Horace Edgar was born on November 6th, 1896 in Jay, Orleans, Vermont, USA. Horace Edgar's father was Herbert Isaac Ovitt and his mother was Bertie Bowen. His maternal grandparents were Mark Edgar Bowen and Abigail Perry. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Herbert Curtis, Earl Alden, Madge Gertrude, Mertie May and Mable Irene. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 88 on May 11th, 1985 in Newport, Orleans, Vermont, USA. He was buried in Island Pond, Essex, Vermont, USA.-
