Frances Aileen was born on March 12th, 1909 in Flat Creek area of Stevens County, Washington. Frances Aileen's father was Elisha Smith Miller and her mother was Lillian Sophia Sargent. Her maternal grandparents are Gilbert Sargent and Frances A. Gilbert. She had four brothers and a sister, named Harry Sargent, Ernest Eugene, Albert, Robert John and Dorothy Anna Lora. She is the third oldest of the six children.-
