Hugh Le Despenser

Hugh was born in 1223 in Loughborough, Leicstershire and his baptism took place in From 25 OCT 1260. Hugh's father was Hugh Le DESPENSER. His paternal grandparents are Thomas Le DESPENSER and Lady Ryhale (de SPENCER). He was an only child. He died at the age of 42 on August 4th, 1265 in Battle of Evesham, Worcestershire. He was buried in The Complete Peerage vol.IV, pp.259-261.
