James Hull Hodgman 
James Hull was born on December 27th, 1822 in Birchton, Quebec, Canada. James Hull's father was Benjamin Hodgman and his mother was Betsey Eleanor Colby. His maternal grandparents are Abner Colby and Elizabeth Ford. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named James, Henry, Benjamin Franklin, Otis, David, Edwin, Lyman, Adaline, Amanda and Maria. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 75 on October 29th, 1898 in Winnebago, Minnesota.-
