Nehemiah was born on January 9th, 1763 in Newton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Nehemiah's father was Sargent Heath and his mother is Judith Hoyt. His paternal grandparents were Nehemiah Heath and Elizabeth Sargent. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Joshua, Timothy, Matthias, Sargent, Richard, Amos, Seth, Sarah, Judith, Elizabeth and Lydia. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 68 on April 1st, 1831 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.-
