HarrisonColby was born on April 11th, 1820 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. HarrisonColby's father was Aaron Colby and his mother was Edith Rowell. His paternal grandparents were James Colby and Susannah Stewart. He had a brother named Sylvanus R.. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 85 on May 5th, 1905. He was buried after May 5th, 1905 in Evans Cemetery, Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.General Notes

In the fall, Harrison and Judith Colby returned to care for his
aged parents, who had sold the Potter Place farm in Andover and
returned to Bow.
