Herbert Allen Grant 
Herbert Allen was born in 1918 in Wyoming. Herbert Allen's father was Gayland Elija Grant and his mother was Della May Steckman. His paternal grandparents were Stewart Lee Rufus Grant and Ruth A. Negus. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Lee William, Robert Curtis, Ray Stanley, Thursday Cornelia Ruth and Lenora Rose. He is the second youngest of the six children.-
