Konrad Fuhrmann 
Konrad was born on April 30th, 1863 in Rohrbach, Russia (near Odessa) and his baptism took place on May 5th, 1863. Konrad's father is Peter Fuhrmann and his mother is Catharina Trautmann. His paternal grandparents are Heinrich F. Fuhrmann and Margaretha Nuss; his maternal grandparents were Georg Jakob Trautmann and Christina Barbara Niess. He was an only child. He died at the age of 95 on March 5th, 1959 in Glasgow, Valley County, Montana. He was buried on March 9th, 1959 in Highland Cemetery, Glasgow, Valley County, Montana.General Notes
The first families subject to military service in the Russian Military were the sons of Ludwig Peter Fuhrmann. His son Henry was the first descendent to draw a lottery number for military service. He drew a lucky number and did not have to serve. Konrad had to serve and became an officer in the Russian Army.
Konrad came to the States in 1889 and settled near the North Dakota-South Dakota border. He married Christina Brennisa. She had also immigrated to the United States from near Odessa, Russia in 1888. They were married May 31, 1891 in Eureka, South Dakota. They move several times around North Dakota. Konrad and Christina came to Montana from Bowdon, North Dakota in March, 1916.

He arrived in the United States in 1889 and moved to Eureka, South Dakota.
