Rex Adair was born on August 7th, 1886 in Canistota, Mccook, South Dakota. Rex Adair's father was Oscar C. Jonah Currier and his mother was Samantha Matilda Cross. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Moses Currier and Mary Anna Whipple. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Edward Eugene, Perry Oscar Everett, Elmer Earnest A., Lewis Hiram Vernon, Harry Ansel Orville, Guy Rockford G., Georgia Alfretta, Pearl Rosalie and Daisy Grace. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 75 on April 7th, 1962 in Souix Falls, Minnehaha, South Dakota. He was buried on April 10th, 1962 in Canistota, Mccook, South Dakota.-
