Ned Alber Colby 
Ned Alber was born on February 15th, 1853 in Marshall, Calhoun County, Michigan. Ned Alber's father was Lorenzo Colby and his mother was Esther Emerson Harvey. His paternal grandparents were Symmes Sawyer Colby and Louisa Ordway. He had a brother and two sisters, named Judson Adonirom, Nellie A. and Angie Dell. He is the second youngest of the four children.-
