John Clark Colby 
John Clark was born on March 8th, 1839 in Jay, New York. John Clark's father is Blanchard Colby and his mother is Lydia Mace. His paternal grandparents are Reuben Colby and Judith Webster Corliss. He had four brothers and five sisters, named James, Blanchard, Malcolm Edward, Judathon, Eliza, Annette, Mary, Martha and Emma Jane. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 87 on December 16th, 1926 in St. Johns, Clinton County, Michigan.-
