Hiram Colby 
Hiram was born on August 7th, 1803 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Hiram's father was Philip Colby and his mother was Hannah Bailey. His paternal grandparents were Willoughby Colby and Sarah Sargent. He had a brother and six sisters, named Sterling, Claray, Sarah, Lucy, Miriam, Emely and Selenda McCawley. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 81 on March 30th, 1885 in Bow, Merrimack County, New Hampshire.-
