Her paternal grandparents are Blanchard Colby and Lydia Mace. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Millard Fillmore, Malcolm Edward, Charles J., George, William Harvey, Jennie and Celia. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 72 in September 1938 in Schenectady County, N.y..-
