Sarah Churchill 
Sarah was born on July 10th, 1800 in Pittsford, Rutland County, Vermont and her baptism took place on September 25th, 1800 in Rutland County, Vermont. Sarah's father was Asahel Churchill and her mother was Eunice Piney. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Churchill and Abigail Barnes. She was an only child. She died at the age of 80 on March 8th, 1881 in Blood's Point, Franklin Township, De Kalb County, Illinois. She was buried in Charter Oak Cemetary, Franklin Township, Dekalb, Illinois.General Notes

Blood's Point, Illinois was located in Franklin township on section 2 and just over the county line into Boone County, Illinois. There is some controversy as to where the post office was located in DeKalb or Boone Counties, Illinois. The post office was established around 1848 with S.V.W. Scott as postmaster.
