Sir Roger de Bertram was born on December 5th, 1224 in of Mitford, Northumberland.  Sir Roger de Bertram's father was Roger de Bertram and his mother was Agnes (de Bertram).  His paternal grandfather was William de Bertram and his paternal grandmother is Alice de Umphraville.  He was an only child.  He died about 1273.
